It can often be difficult and confusing when trying to decide which fat-removal and fat reduction procedure is best. Each option has its own list of pros and cons, and what’s best for one person may not be best for everyone. So in this article, we’ll look at the differences between Clatuu fat freezing and Coolsculpting.

What is CoolSculpting?

CoolSculpting, or cryolipolysis, is a non-invasive, fat reduction technology that was created by ZELTIQ Aesthetics, Inc. Unwanted fat cells are removed from underneath the skin without surgery. According to research by two Harvard scientists, selectively freezing fat, or adipose cells, reduced bulges of fat by 20-25%. People undergoing CoolSculpting treatments typically require one to three treatments to reach their desired result.

How CoolSculpting is Done

Marks are made on the area that will be treated to ensure the precise placement of the device. A transparent gel pad is used on the area to protect the skin. The applicator head is then put into position and the vacuum is turned on. Once the bulge of fat is sucked in the cup, two cooling panels freeze the area. The fat cells crystalize due to the controlled cooling without causing harm to the nerves, muscle, or skin.

A CoolSculpting treatment typically lasts around an hour. A few treatments spread out over several weeks is generally needed to get desired results. During the weeks following the treatment, the body naturally eliminates the dead fat cells. Your body will continue to eliminate these fat cells through the lymphatic system and liver for up to six months post-treatment, with optimal results seen around the 12-week mark.

What is Clatuu 360?

Clatuu 360 is a fat freezing treatment that utilizes controlled cooling technology to get rid of unwanted, stubborn fat. Clatuu or CoolSculpting?

Both Clatuu 360 and CoolSculpting are fat-freezing devices used to remove unwanted stubborn fat. Clatuu is often considered a very effective performing device for reducing pockets of fat. That’s not to say that CoolSculpting doesn’t still offer the desired results. CoolSculpting treatments typically take longer due to there only being one applicator head used, so only one area can be treated at a time.

This is typically a good sign that things are happening deep within the skin. Some people may experience temporary numbness, welts, or bruising, however, these side effects are quite rare. There is also a rare, slight risk of burning, as with any treatment that is heat-based. Any temporary inflammation should go away within a few days or up to a couple of weeks.

My rating for review is for a combination of Peche themselves and the service (cryolipolysis) provided. Peche's service is very good. They're polite, professional and kind. As others have said, they make you feel very welcome. They confirm with text and send text follow-ups. Their room is nice, dignity is maintained, everything is clean. Parking is off-street, which was appreciated. The consultation discussed the process, which was good and it meant I was quite well prepared for what to expect during the treatment. Treatment areas were discussed and advantages and disadvantages of each area were addressed, and it seems like they are quite knowledgeable in this area. It feels like a safe place to receive a treatment. I did reach out via text post treatment with concerns that my results were uneven and didn't receive any reply. Ultimately, I chose to cancel my follow-up appointment due to a lack of addressing my concerns, so I am unable to comment on what happens in the follow-up appointment. Their prices are competitive. Cryolipolysis is not a cheap therapy, and they use Clatuu (which I would recommend over other manufacturers) but only have certain handle sizes - which means the abdomen is 2 handles/treatments, doubling the price (other Clatuu places have a long abdo handle, making it better value). The cryolipolysis itself was very effective, but unevenly so. I was not prepared for one side of my body to respond SO differently from the other. One side of my body is +++ better than the other and I have now been left uneven and bulgy on one side, which is devastating to my self confidence. Be warned for those with low pain tolerance - It was quite an uncomfortable treatment initially at the time but the recovery is a bit more intensive/painful than led on in the pre-treatment consultation. I could barely put pants on. The bruising is INTENSE. But recovery is quick and I was still able to function and work, albeit slowly. Unfortunately, I have been left with permanent numbness over the love handle and upper outer leg area (5 month mark now). It's very slowly recovering, and is consistent with nerve damage. Looking online, it seems many people have this adverse event. That being said, it is an effective treatment. Visibly so even after 1 treatment. Permanent and quick. I would most definitely opt for this over invasive treatments like surgical lipo and I would do it again, even with the adverse events mentioned above. I would just get longer on one side than the other. With those things in mind, knowing the risks and benefits, I would overall recommend both Peche and Cryolipolysis and have referred other people when asked.
